2024’25' Soccer Program Pathway

Before you begin. . .

Thank you for showing an interest in being a part of our program! PLEASE read carefully as this program is NOT for every player/parent.

What is our outdoor program?

Our Futsal Escola Sports Club offers boys and girls, ages 5-18 a place to train and compete outdoor soccer along training and competing in futsal.

What is the Evaluation process?

During the Evaluation week, prospects (and current players) will have two (or one) opportunities to join a training session lead by one of our Staff Members. Current players are required to be at one of the sessions if they wish to continue on the team. Players who participate in our outdoor travel program, sign a one-year commitment letter in which confirms their participation for Fall & Spring outdoor seasons.

Why a Practice Session?

We believe that for us to get the best look at players, we must see him/her in the environment we will be seeing them the most and where they are most comfortable, a practice session. This also allows players to feel more relaxed during such stressful moments.

Which age groups are available?

  • 2018, 2017 & 2016 COED (Fall & Spring)

  • 2015 Boys & Girls (Fall & Spring)

  • 2014 Boys & Girls (Fall & Spring)

  • 2013 Boys & Girls (Fall & Spring)

  • 2011/12 Boys & Girls (Fall & Spring)

  • HighSchool (Boys in Fall & Girls in Spring) (2010 thru 2006)

How do I get my child evaluated?

The first step is to make sure you understand why you a looking for a different option.

  • What are you looking for?

  • What is your child looking for?

  • Is the philosophy and vision of the program similar to what you believe?

  • Are you familiar with the clubs approach to development?

  • Are looking for long-term development or short term success?

Futsal Escola Sports Club Method Of Development?

While each player has a different level of potential, we think players perform better when confident and enjoying the game. We introduce the game of futsal at the earlier stages of development due to its numerous advantage for youth development.

  • More Touches On The Ball

  • Play Multiple Positions

  • Constantly Under Pressure To Make Decisions

  • Smaller Space

  • Faster & Complex Game

As players move to the next Stage Of Development (get older), we increase the number of outdoor practices as they should be confident on the ball (from Futsal) and need a high level of understanding for the outdoor game.

What is the ideal player?

The ideal F.E.S.C. player starts their journey on the Futsal court while participating in the open programs (Pick-up futsal, Winter training, Winter League, Summer League) we currently offer to continue their development during the off-season. While we encourage players to try different sports during their down time, we believe players should still be involved with different types of soccer/futsal.

We hope to develop players that become self-driven by their passion for the game and personal goals. We encourage each player to master the ball and fall in love with the game.

We develop players thru TRAINING more importantly than games and equal playing time. We place players of the same skill level and developmental stage together in order to maximize the intensity of the training and potential growth of each player.

What is the level of the players?

We compete at the highest level of soccer in town and surrounding states.
We offer limited spots per age groups as we only place one Team per age group.

What do we look for?

Parent Behavior - Child/Family Relationships - Child Behavior - Long Term Commitment - TRUST

NOTICE NONE OF THOSE INVOLVED A SOCCER SKILL.
As a small program, we are very particular in the environment we create, ON AND OFF the field/court. It is imperative that we must be able to work along side one another as adults if we expect our kids to replicate the behavior/environment they see.

We look for outgoing kids, do-ers, decision-makers, kids who love to compete and show the desire to learn. We are committed coaches and educators with a passion in youth soccer development.

Each player will develop at their own pace, always remembering that the work they put at home is far more important than just attending practices.
